Dahon Return & Cancellation Policy: Simple & Straightforward
We want you to love your new Dahon bike or accessories! If something doesn't feel right, here's how we can help.

14-Day Happiness Guarantee
Not 100% happy with your purchase? No problem! You can return items within 14 days of receiving your shipment as long as:
- They're in like-new condition (a little light use is totally okay).
- No major damage, abuse, or neglect.
- They're packed in the original box/packaging they arrived in.
- Even if you just want to swap parts, this 14-day policy still applies.
- A 15% restocking fee (based on the original purchase price) will apply to all approved returns under this policy.
How to Start a Return
- Fill out the [Return Authorisation Form] — this helps us process your return smoothly.
- We'll send you a confirmation email with step-by-step shipping tips.
- Include everything that came with your order: manuals, tools, chargers, small parts — all of it.
- Remove or fully cover old shipping labels to prevent misdelivery.
Who Pays for Return Shipping?
- You cover return shipping — choose your own carrier, or tick the box on the return form to request a shipping quote (please keep the original box handy).
- When might you get a partial refund?
- A 15% restocking fee (based on the original purchase price) is deducted from all approved returns.
- If items are damaged due to improper packing, or if parts are missing, additional deductions may apply.
- If you skip our warranty process for a warranty issue and return the item instead: we can't waive shipping costs, and there may be extra fees for repairs or replacement parts (on top of the 15% restocking fee).

What If My Package Gets Sent Back to Dahon? (RTS)
If your order is returned to sender (RTS):
- If it's your mistake (e.g., wrong address or refusing delivery): We'll deduct shipping costs (both ways) from your refund, plus the 15% restocking fee.
- If it's our mistake: You'll receive a full refund — no shipping fees or restocking fees.
When Will I Get My Refund?
- Once we receive and inspect your return, we'll email you to confirm whether your refund is approved and outline any deductions (including the 15% restocking fee).
- Approved refunds (after deductions) are sent to your original payment method within 10 business days — no extra steps needed from you.
Need to Cancel Your Order? (Dahon's Cancellation Policy)
- Free cancellation: Cancel before 10:00 am PST on the same day you placed the order — no fees.
- Next-day cancellation: If you ordered after 10:00 am, you can still cancel for free by 10:00 am the next business day.
- Late cancellation fees:
- Cancel between 10:00 am–2:00 pm PST (before the carrier picks it up): $50 processing fee (deducted from your refund). No restocking fee applies here.
- Cancel after the carrier has it: We'll deduct the cost of shipping it to you (varies by location) plus the carrier's return fee, in addition to the 15% restocking fee.
