Sales Representative

Sales Agents
About the role:
DAHON, the world’s leading folding bicycle brand, is expanding its presence across Europe. We are looking for motivated sales agents to join our network, representing DAHON to distributors, dealers, and retail partners in your region. As a Sales Agent, you will help grow our market share, promote our innovative folding bikes, and contribute to shaping the future of green mobility.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with distributors, dealers, and retail partners across Canada and/or South America.
- Promote DAHON’s product range, seasonal campaigns, and brand values.
- Execute sales strategies to achieve regional targets and expand market share.
- Gather and analyze market feedback, competitor information, and customer insights.
- Support marketing and promotional activities, including exhibitions and dealer events.
- Provide timely reporting on sales performance and account activity.
Requirements
- Proven sales experience in the bicycle, outdoor, or sporting goods industry.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Fluency in English; additional European languages (French, Spanishand/or Portuguese) are a plus.
- Familiar with B2B sales models and dealer networks.
- Self-driven, organized, and capable of working independently.
- Willing to travel occasionally across Canada and America.

DAHON is recruiting experienced dealers across United States to expand our local retail presence. As a DAHON authorized dealer you will sell and service our bicycles (folding bikes, e-bikes, parts and accessories), manage in-store and online sales, and deliver customer service and aftercare locally with backing from our US team. This is a long-term commercial partnership for dealers committed to quality, customer experience, and growth.
Dealer Responsibilities
- Sell DAHON products through your physical stores and/or online channels.
- Provide knowledgeable pre-sale advice, demo rides, and post-sale service/maintenance.
- Manage local inventory, merchandising, pricing and point-of-sale operations.
- Handle warranty claims and basic repairs; coordinate with DAHON for technical escalations.
- Execute local marketing and promotional activities (in-store events, social media, local ads), supported by DAHON marketing team.
- Share market feedback, sales data, and competitor insights to support joint growth plans.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, certifications and product handling requirements.
Ideal Dealer Profile
- Established retail presence in bicycles, e-bikes, or mobility products.
- Proven retail sales performance and local customer base.
- Trained technicians or access to qualified service personnel.
- Capability to display demo units and conduct test rides.
- Reliable inventory and order management processes.
- Sound financial standing and commitment to a multi-year partnership.
- Familiarity with local consumer protection and warranty laws.

Working with our US sales team, you will represent DAHON to introduce our bicycles ( folding bikes, e-bikes, parts and accessories, etc.) to the dealers and managing your market with support from our local sales and the global marketing team. This is a long-term partnership for individuals committed to quality, innovation, and growth.
Key Responsibilities:
• Territory Management:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with retail partners to drive growth of DAHON Bicycle Group brands.
• Sales Growth:
Meet or exceed territory sales targets; deliver regular performance reports to International Sales Director.
• Product Knowledge Education:
Act as a technical resource, matching DAHON products to retailers and consumers’ needs, ensuring proper use and representation.
• Retailer Support:
Facilitate in-store product training, merchandising support, and promotions in coordination with DAHON teams.
• Event Participation:
Represent DAHON at key regional events, trade shows, and shop visits to increase visibility and strengthen dealer relationships.
• Market Feedback:
Provide timely insights on market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs.
Ideal Sales Representative Profile:
· Minimum 3+ years as an independent rep or contractor in the cycling industry.
· Strong, existing network of IBDs and / or bike dealers.
· Proven track record of growing territory sales and managing multiple accounts.
· Excellent communication, organizational, and presentation skills.
· Ability to travel extensively within the territory.
· Must reside within the territory.
